Mine usually never make it to the floor, never to be seen again.

Wouldn't have been more appropriate to use a Plinko chip that fell into the Zero slots?

I dropped a Torx bit the other day, but actually managed to retrieve it with a long screwdriver and some duct tape. =)

I was recently helping my wife’s uncle do some battery work on an old (early 2000s) Impala. He had never worked on a car with a belly pan, so he figured his dropped sockets were just lost forever.
I reached down like a witch doctor and tapped upward on the belly pan and listened for the sound, like a loose snare drum. Then a couple of hard pops and I freed THREE sockets at the same time onto the garage floor.
I looked him in the eye and said “Fahrvergnugen”
